Mi launched it's first laptops on 11th June 2020, and by launching the laptops Mi made it clear that they are not stopping they make their place in every market of technology. Is this laptop is a game changer of Mi ? Is Mi going to make place in the market? let's see

DESIGN AND PORTS :-

Mi Notebook 14 Horizon is made up of aluminium and magnesium alloy and the thickness of the laptop is 17.15 mm, the length of the laptop is 321.3 mm, the width of the laptop is 206.8 mm, the weight of the laptop is 1.35 kg which makes it the lightest and thinnest laptop.

Mi Notebook 14 Horizon has many ports to transfer data:

1 x Type C USB 3.1 gen 1(which available in Horizon edition only not in Mi Notebook 14)

2 x Type A USB 3.1 gen 1

1 x USB 2.0

1 x HDMI

1 x Combo audio jack

1 x Charging port

SCREEN AND CAMERA

Screen:-

The size of the screen is 35.56 cm(14), it has FHD Anti glare display with 1090 x 1080 pixels of resolution with a aspect ratio of 16:9 and the screen to body ratio is 91% which really makes this laptop has very thin bezels. Mi claims that it has the wide viewing anle of about 178°.

Camera:-

Mi Notebook Horizon does not has webcam built in it, they bundle it separately so this means that you have to carry the webcam with you wherever you go, if you are feeling sad then don't be because they bundle HD webcam in it so this will may put smile on your face at least they have not compromised with the camera quality.

BATTERY, KEYBOARD, TRACKPAD AND SOUND

Battery :-

Mi Notebook 14 Horizon has not compromised in any place even in the battery section also they have given 46 Wh battery which claimed by Mi can give up to 10 hrs of battery backup and when you have used all the battery of your and your laptop is about to turn off don't worry you can charge it with the fast charger they provide which 65 W charger which can charge your laptop from 0 to 50% in just 35 mins.

Keyboard:-

Talking about the keyboard as it has really nice keys and they are actually based on scissor mechanism which means they wobble less and take less pressure to press and help you do your work even faster, it actually take 1.3 mm travel distance, it has dust protection.

Trackpad:-

It is the multi-touch trackpad which offers easy swipe, scroll, selection, zoom in, zoom out etc. If you have a bad habit of keeping your palm near your trackpad and by mistake it moves on the trackpad while using it and your cursor get's moved then this is not going to be problem here because it has the palm rejection feature to cancel the unintended touches.

Sound :-

Mi Notebook Horizon has 3.5mm headphone jack with mic in it and it has stereo speakers and these stereo speakers combined with dts audio processing app helps you get the best out of the speakers while you are watching movies, TV shows or listening music. It has 2x2W stereo speaker.

PROCESSOR, STORAGE, MEMORY, GRAPHICS AND PRICE:-

Mi Notebook 14 horizon comes with latest Intel core i7 (10 generation) processor, comes with windows 10 home and has only one RAM option which 8GB RAM and comes with only one graphic option NVIDIA Geforce MX350 and comes with two storage options first is 512 GB SSD and second is 512 GB NVMe SSD storage . Well talking about the price MI has never disappointed with the prices because they want their product to reach to most of the people and that's why they have given many pricing options which ever suits the buyer they can choose that option

2- 8 GB RAM and 512 GB NVMe SSD = ₹59,999.
