MI Notebook 14

MI has always surprised us with it's products and yesterday they surprised us by releasing their first laptop but the first question which rises in our mind is whether it is a competition to other or not? whether it will make it's place or not? well let's just see how good is this or it not good at all.

DESIGN AND PORTS :-

MI Notebook 14 has a very sleek design and comes in very light weight which is 1.5 kg which very nice and handy, the thickness of the laptop is 17.95 mm, which actually makes it the thin laptop. It is made up of aluminium and magnesium alloy polished with the help of sandblasting.

SCREEN AND CAMERA :-

Screen:-

MI Notebook 14 has the screen size of 35.56 cm(14) and is a FHD Anti glare display with the resolution of 1090 x 1080 pixels and MI claims that it has the wide viewing angle of  178°and has the screen to body ratio about 81.2%, well the notebook has really thin bezels so that is why it has good screen to body ratio.

Camera:-

MI Notebook 14 doesn't comes with attached webcam they bundle it separately which kind a not good because we just can carry the webcam separately all the time. If you feel sad of carrying it all the time wherever you then after knowing that they bundle the HD webcam in it will put smile on your face that they have at least not compromised with the quality of the webcam which actually good.

BATTERY, KEYBOARD, TRACKPAD AND SOUND :-

Keyboard :-

Let's just start with the keyboard as it is a really nice keys and they are actually based on scissor mechanism which means they wobble less and take less pressure to press and help you do your work even faster, it actually take 1.3 mm travel distance, it has dust protection

Trackpad :- 

It is the multi-touch trackpad which offers easy swipe, scroll, selection, zoom in, zoom out etc. If you have a bad habit of keeping your palm near your trackpad and by mistake it moves on the trackpad while using it and your cursor get's moved then this is not going to be problem here because it has the palm rejection feature to cancel the unintended touches.

Sound :-

MI notebook has 3.5mm headphone jack with mic in it and it has stereo speakers and these stereo speakers combined with dts audio processing app helps you get the best out of the speakers while you are watching movies, TV shows or listening music. It has 2x2W stereo speaker.

Battery :-

MI Notebook 14 has really big battery back up which is 10 hrs of battery back up claimed by MI and has 46Wh battery size which is huge and when your laptop drains out then there is no problem you charge your laptop with 65 W charger which will charge your laptop from 0 to 100 in just 55 mins which is actually nice for the people who want to charge their laptops at last moment.

PROCESSOR, MEMORY, STORAGE, GRAPHICS AND PRICE :-

MI Notebook 14 comes with the latest processor which is Intel core i5 (10 generation) processor, comes with windows 10 home and has only one RAM option which 8GB RAM and comes with two graphics option which is Intel UHD graphics 620 and second option is NVIDIA Geforce MX250 (2GB GDDR5 VRAM) and also comes with two storage options first is 256 GB SSD storage and second is 512 GB SSD storage. Well talking about the price MI has never disappointed with the prices because they want their product to reach to most of the people and that's why they have given many pricing options which ever suits the buyer they can choose that option
